My opinion is that since the late 80’s, I’ve watched Political Correctness poison rational discourse and bully the innocent. So it would be wonderful poetic justice if this beast turns on its masters. To put a spin on Chesterton: I wish Lowery to go to sensitivity training and Brown to say when Lowery shall come out.
The “when white will embrace what is right” kerfuffle.

I liked that prayer, FWIW — and I thought Bp. Lowery was great. He was preaching in the call/response style used for years by black preachers, with the congregation “actively participating” (heh). I though he was down to earth, to the point, and at the end, I shouted “Amen!” too. I’m white, but having observed the Civil Rights struggles of the 50s and 60s, never thought I’d see a black president in the White House. If MLK had been still alive, he’d have been a happy man on Jan. 20. Of course, given Obama’s pro-abortion politics, it’s just sad that it’s this particular black man.
Thanks for your input. While I am familiar with call/response, I’m not sure that or any other format could paper over the content if it were something like “When the Jews are rounded up”.
