My thesis director was a convert from Anglicanism to Greek Orthodoxy (when the Anglicans began ordaining women, I believe), and he always pronounced &quot;Orthodoxy&quot; as &quot;Or-THO-dox-y,&quot; which made it easy at any moment to know what he was talking about.]]></description>
